My name is Suzanne. I fell in love with man named Pete and married him nine months later. Crazy, I know. A year after that, we became parents to a little girl I’m going to call C.
Before she was born, we heard all about how much our lives would change. We would never sleep again. We wouldn’t have time to read a book for the next ten years. If we ever went out together, we would only talk about the baby.
We’re working hard to be good parents but to hold on to our passions, hobbies, interests and identities. Pete is a mountain biker and I play banjo. We have a baby. And we’re trying to fit it all in somehow.

Clicked over to say thank you for visiting my blog today. I love your determination to not let your baby take over. It’s a good thing to fit the baby into your lives, not wrap your lives around the baby.
Thanks for stopping by, Jennifer!
Suzanne! Totally loving your blog and your commitment to remain individuals 🙂 And double bubble to anyone who plays banjo!
Aw, thanks! I really appreciate that. When will we get to see you again?

Not sure if this will work, but I left a comment on your SITS post but it may have ended in spam. Just wanted to give you a heads-up! Great blog 🙂
I found it in the spam folder! Thanks for letting me know!
So nice to meet you, Suzanne. I married my husband 7 months after I met him, so we are crazy too. (And that was nearly 25 years ago!) Glad to find you at SITS.
That’s amazing! I think it looked crazier on the outside than it actually was. We were both around 30, and had dated enough to realize that we had found The One. So nice to meet you too!
Hi. Just wanted to let you know about a project I am involved in. I’m raising funds to record a cd of music for babies. All profits will go to support a new music therapy program in the NICU at Mount Sinai. My own daughter was born there weighing 1 lb 13 ounces, so it is a cause close to my heart. Any help you could give in getting the word out would be very appreciated.

Thanks so much for any help that you can provide.
